China News Service, April 23. According to the Japan Broadcasting Association (NHK) report, at 3 pm local time on the 22nd, two F2 fighter jets of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force flew over Yamaguchi Prefecture and some parts on the plane fell. The accident caused no casualties.

  According to reports, the two aircraft involved belonged to the fortification base in Fukuoka Prefecture.

The accident caused a part of the vertical tail of one of the aircraft, weighing about 400 grams, to fall on the mountainous terrain, and the front of the other aircraft was damaged.

After the accident, the two planes returned home and landed at the fortification base about an hour later.

  According to the report, at the time of the incident, there were three people on the two planes, including the pilot and an aviation magazine photographer.

However, none of the three persons were injured. In addition, there were no reports of injuries to the people in the vicinity where the parts were dropped.

  At present, the cause of the accident is under further investigation.
