Donate blood by going to the museum.

This is the original partnership set up by the French Blood Establishment (EFS) Occitanie which offers two blood drives next week in cultural establishments in Toulouse: one on April 27 at the Cité de l'Espace, the another on April 30 at the Musée des Abattoirs.

Because with the health crisis and the third confinement favoring teleworking, attendance at Donation Houses is down, straining blood reserves a little more.

The installation of vaccinodrome in municipal halls also penalizes these donations.

Donations by appointment

It is therefore with their heads in the stars, at the Cité de l'Espace that Toulouse residents are invited to donate blood, by appointment (on mon-rdv-dondesang.efs.sante.fr), from 12:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. hours.

During their blood test, donors will enjoy videos on space news.

On April 30, it is by admiring the works dedicated to modern and contemporary art from the Abattoirs that donors will make a solidarity gesture, by appointment from 1 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.

Our file on blood donation

The EFS reminds that donating blood is an authorized outing and asks donors to bring the checked certificate “help to vulnerable people” within a radius of more than 10 km from home during the day.
