From Sweden's side, Minister of the Environment Per Bolund (MP) has participated in a roundtable discussion.

The meeting will be held ahead of the UN climate conference COP26 in Glasgow in November, and the participating countries have, among other things, discussed the work to reach the 1.5-degree goal.

Yesterday, the United States stated that it will tighten its climate targets with a view to reducing the country's carbon dioxide emissions by between 50 and 52 percent from the 2005 level by 2030.
