Dachau (dpa / lby) - How much entry fees did the Dachau swimming pool miss in the Corona summer 2020 due to a renovation-related delayed opening?

The Regional Court of Munich II has dealt with this question.

Now the city of Dachau and the company in question have agreed on a settlement, as a court spokeswoman said.

Several media had reported about it.

In Dachau there was a heavy hitch over the opening in 2020.

The company had demanded almost 83,000 euros from the city of Dachau for the waterproofing of the sports swimming pool.

However, the work was completed on July 9, 2020 - instead of June 1 as agreed.

The city therefore set off 107 590 euros in damages.

This amount has escaped her entry payments from June 8th.

When calculating, the city was based on the average number of guests over the past ten years.

The court argued that the corona restrictions were not priced in here.

In addition, it is unclear whether the pool could not have been opened without a sports pool.

A diving pool and at least one non-swimmer pool could be used.

According to the comparison, the city should now pay the company € 55,000.

That is good for the taxpayers, they said.

The local council still has to agree.
