From our correspondent in Moscow,

As treating doctors, we appeal to Alexeï Navalny and ask him to immediately stop his hunger strike in order to preserve his life and his health

 ".

In a letter published by

the independent site Mediazona

, the five practitioners claim to have accessed new analyzes that are even more disturbing than the previous ones.

According to them, these analyzes reveal symptoms of kidney failure and severe neurological symptoms that can lead to irreversible damage to the opponent's health.

“

If the hunger strike continues even for a very short time

 ,” the doctors write, “

we will soon have no one to care for.

 "

Transfer to a Moscow hospital

According to the signatories of the letter, these analyzes were carried out in a civilian hospital in Vladimir on April 20, and by independent doctors.

However, this partly responds to Alexeï Navalny's demands and it is also for this reason that his doctors ask him to stop his hunger strike.

The signatories specify, however, that they will continue to ask to be able to examine their patient themselves, and especially to obtain a transfer of Alexeï Navalny to a civilian hospital in Moscow.

It is only there, in their eyes, that the appropriate care can be brought to him, "

given the complexity of his case and the damage caused to his nervous system

" due to

his poisoning, last summer

, with an agent. neurotoxic of military origin.
