Weekends follow one another and look the same in Montpellier (Hérault): once again, Saturday and Sunday, the Peyrou gardens, where it is good to walk and have a picnic, will be closed to the public, to prevent the spread of the Covid -19.

"The virus still circulating actively and the level of hospitalization and resuscitation remaining high in the department, it remains necessary and urgent to prevent any behavior likely to increase or promote the risk of contagion or circulation of the virus", indicates the prefecture of Hérault, which deplores that "many festive gatherings are observed in the gardens of Peyrou on weekends".

According to the latest report from the Regional Health Agency, 424 people were hospitalized on Tuesday in the Hérault department, including 102 in critical care (the highest figures in Occitanie).

The incidence rate of Covid-19 was 316 cases per 100,000 inhabitants over seven days, Thursday, against 330 nationally.
