Berlin (dpa) - After just a few weeks, the museums in Berlin are closing again.

The reason is new federal rules in the fight against the corona virus.

"From Saturday, unfortunately, all museums and memorials - and thus all exhibitions of the Berlin State Museums - must remain closed," the State Museums announced on Friday.

The first exhibition houses in the capital opened again in mid-March.

Safety regulations applied to the visit.

For example, visitors had to wear an FFP2 mask and ultimately also submit a negative test.
