Dresden (dpa / sn) - In addition to nine dead cats, a male corpse was found in an apartment in Dresden.
The neighbors had not seen the 64-year-old for about two weeks and alerted the emergency services on Thursday because the apartment had a strong smell of decay, as the fire brigade announced on Friday.
The emergency services found the body and the animal carcasses in the apartment.
It will be investigated in all directions, but so far there has been no evidence of a crime, said a police spokesman.
The first thing to do is to clarify the cause of death.
