Berlin (AP) - The DFB Cup final in Berlin will be played as a ghost game.

Due to the currently valid Corona regulations, an application for admission of spectators for the final on May 13th in the Berlin Olympic Stadium is not possible in time, the German Football Association announced.

For this reason, the conditions of special match operations without spectators apply to the cup final as in the Bundesliga.

The semifinals of the current competition are scheduled for the coming week.

Werder Bremen will meet RB Leipzig on April 30th.

One day later, Borussia Dortmund welcomes the second division Holstein Kiel.

Defending champion FC Bayern was eliminated early.

In the previous year, the Munich team defeated Bayer Leverkusen 4-2 in front of the dreary crowd of only 691 people.
