Leipzig (dpa) - The Leipzig Kings have found a home two months before the start of the new European League of Football.

As the club announced on Friday, the games in the new league will be played in the Alfred-Kunze-Sportpark of the regional soccer team BSG Chemie Leipzig.

“The BSG is providing the kings with a space for training units and the main square in the traditional sports park in the west of Leipzig for five encounters.

The first home game will take place on July 4th against the Cologne Centurions », announced the Kings.

There will be a trial training session in Leipzig at the beginning of May.

Officially, the Kings have only signed coach Fred Armstrong and quarterback Michael Birdsong so far.

The team will compete in the ELF on June 20 at Berlin Thunder.

In addition, Hamburg and the Polish team Wroclaw play in the north group, four other teams belong to the south group.

The two best teams qualify for the semifinals.
