Stadthagen (dpa / lni) - Consequential travel route: A 44-year-old driver apparently drunk past a police station in Stadthagen (Schaumburg district) on Friday night and was finally stopped by the police.
During a traffic control shortly after passing the police station, the officials found the 44-year-old smell of alcohol, according to a police spokesman.
A first test showed an alcohol level of 1.34 per mille.
The man's driver's license was secured and a blood sample was ordered.
The 44-year-old then went home by taxi.
