Jean Castex is visiting the South West this Saturday morning.

Before going to his native Gers, the Prime Minister will stop by Toulouse.

And he doesn't come empty-handed.

Accompanied by the Minister for Territorial Cohesion and Relations with Local Authorities, Jacqueline Gourault, he will announce when he comes the State's participation in the third metro line to the tune of 200 million euros.

A contribution paid to the biggest Toulouse infrastructure project of the decade as part of France Relance, which provides for one billion euros for the development of public transport.

An amount equal to that expected by elected officials for this Toulouse Aerospace Express line, the overall budget of which is estimated at 2.7 billion euros.

27 km long, it must link Colomiers to Labège, via the aeronautical zone and the Matabiau station, and will be put into service in 2028, not 2025 as initially announced.

After the Pink City, Jean Castex will take the road to Gers, in particular to Gimont where he will announce the financing of the upgrading to 2x2 lanes of the last section of the RN124 between Gimont and L'Isle-Jourdain.
