Bad Langensalza (dpa / th) - A 15-year-old moped driver was critically injured in a collision with a car.
As a police spokeswoman said on Friday, the youngster drove on Thursday afternoon on the country road between Bad Langensalza and Thamsbrück (Unstrut-Hainich district) in the direction of Thamsbrück.
In the process, she collided with a car that drove off a property onto the country road.
A preliminary investigation against the 53-year-old car driver has been initiated.
According to the spokeswoman, the 15-year-old was still in hospital with serious injuries on Friday.
