Lippstadt (dpa / lnw) - A woman was attacked by a passenger in a bus in Lippstadt (Soest district) after she had advised him of the obligation to wear a mask.
As the police announced on Thursday, the 64-year-old had spoken to the man on Wednesday because he was not wearing mouth and nose protection.
The man then attacked the woman and hit her in the face, the police said.
The bus driver stopped and asked the man to get out to avoid an escalation.
Therefore, the authorities are now looking for the stranger.
