Argentine star Angel Di Maria, winger of Paris Saint-Germain, grabbed the limelight as his team qualified for the French Cup semi-finals with a sweeping score at the expense of Angers 5-0.

In the 68th minute of the match, while the result was a three-goal lead by the Parisian team, Di Maria received a ball inside the Angers penalty area, and he passed it in turn with the heel or (Rapuna) to his compatriot and colleague Mauro Icardi, who scored a hat-trick in this match.

Angel Di Maria 🤩 Doesn't get half the plaudits he should.

It is not the first time that Di Maria passes or scores with "Rapona". In 2009, Di Maria passed - when he was playing with Real Madrid - a distinctive "Rapuna", from which Cristiano Ronaldo scored a goal with his head against Ake Athena, Greece.

When he was a player at Benfica, he scored a goal this way after being alone with the goalkeeper.

Di Maria says of his pass to Icardi, "After I passed two players inside the Angers penalty area, Icardi spotted near the goal, preferring to pass the ball to him with a (Rapona) ball over a right-footed pass, and most importantly, he scored it."
