Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - The so-called seven-day incidence of new corona infections in Baden-Württemberg has increased significantly.

In the course of the past seven days, the authorities have registered an average of 182.9 infections per 100,000 inhabitants as of Wednesday (4 p.m.), as the state health office announced.

On Tuesday the value was 172.5.

Only 3 of the 44 urban and rural districts are below the 100 incidence and they are in southern Baden: the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district with 67.1, the city of Freiburg with 89.1 and the Emmendingen district just under 99.8.

25 circles are between 100 and 200, 16 above the 200 mark.

The district of Heilbronn has the highest incidence (314.4), followed by Schwäbisch Hall with 273.9 and Rottweil with 273.1.

The number of confirmed cases since the beginning of the pandemic rose by 4813 to 417 504. 33 other people died of an infection with or related to the coronavirus.

The number of deaths rose to 9,146. 363,966 people are considered recovered (plus 2,326).
