The City Mission Västerås and Mimer have together started the project with the walks towards loneliness and isolation.
Every week, as far as the weather allows, Västerås seniors will now have the opportunity to meet and take a walk and coffee break with a volunteer.
- We have received a very good response so far.
Everyone who has been isolated for so long longs to socialize and talk, says Magnus Uhlin who works as director of the city mission.
