Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - The fire of several cars in a parking garage in Düsseldorf abruptly ended lessons in a neighboring school: the classrooms could no longer be ventilated in a corona-compliant manner.

As the police reported on Thursday, a car caught fire in the first basement of the parking garage at noon.

The flames spread to other cars.

The fire brigade was on site with 60 emergency services.

The thick smoke that drew from the parking garage forced the secondary school opposite to the end of classes.

Schools are forced to ventilate every 20 minutes because of the pandemic.
