Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - Because of an alleged attack on a father and his two sons in Stuttgart, three men aged 18, 24 and 27 were in custody.
The three men are being investigated for attempted manslaughter, the police announced on Thursday.
The trio allegedly attacked a 45-year-old and his sons aged 19 and 20 on February 24, and some seriously injured them.
The 45-year-old met the three men he knew.
The Germans immediately hit him.
When the 45-year-old's two sons arrived, they too were attacked.
All three were seriously injured.
The suspected perpetrators were arrested on Wednesday.
Neither the police nor the public prosecutor wanted to comment on the motive and background of the crime.
