Grevenbroich (dpa / lnw) - A truck loaded with earth overturned on the A 46 near Grevenbroich and on Wednesday caused an hour-long blockage in the direction of Brilon. The charge spilled over the entire lane, the police and fire brigade announced at noon. It will take until the afternoon to remove the earth and clean the highway, said a spokeswoman for the highway police. The driver was reportedly uninjured in the accident. Shortly before 11 a.m., for unknown reasons, his tractor-trailer started to lurch. The trailer tipped over and the driver's cab stopped. The accident occurred at a service area, through which the traffic that was temporarily jammed for several kilometers could be slowly diverted.According to the police, restrictions can be expected on the route until early evening.
