“The situation in the east of Ukraine, on the border of the country, is very tense, but does not threaten Poland,” Polish Radio quoted him as saying.
He noted that Poland is "a member of a powerful alliance", meaning NATO.
Earlier, the head of the National Security Bureau of Poland, Pavel Solokh, following a meeting with the Secretary of the Ukrainian National Security and Defense Council Alexei Danilov, said that Warsaw will try to keep the situation in Ukraine a leading topic for discussion in NATO.
