Pirna (dpa) - In the course of investigations against three alleged smugglers, the Dresden public prosecutor's office had the apartments of a 31-year-old and a 36-year-old in Schleswig-Holstein searched.

38 officials from Saxony secured extensive evidence in the premises in Wedel and Norderstedt (Pinneberg district), including digital storage media and documents, as the Federal Police Inspection Berggießhübel in Pirna announced on Wednesday.

A total of three men are being investigated on suspicion of smuggling in foreigners for commercial purposes.

The Syrians are said to have illegally brought compatriots to Germany in at least four cases.

Three compatriots sat in his car without the required entry documents.

Then his apartment in Quickborn (Schleswig-Holstein) was searched.

In November 2020, the federal police stopped a smuggling on the A 17 Prague-Dresden and found evidence of a business model in the course of this.
