Kobrow (dpa / mv) - A 51-year-old driver was seriously injured in a collision with a tree near Kobrow (Ludwigslust-Parchim district).
He came off the road with his car in a curve on Tuesday evening for reasons that were initially unclear, as the police announced on Wednesday.
Accordingly, he crashed into the tree there with such force that it was uprooted and divided.
The car only came to a stop on another tree with the roof leaning vertically against the trunk.
First responders freed the man from the vehicle.
He was seriously injured and taken to a clinic in a rescue helicopter.
