Dresden (AP) - The team from the second division handball team HC Elbflorenz Dresden has to go into quarantine.
As the club announced on Wednesday, several people tested positive for the corona virus.
The away game of the Dresden team at TV Emsdetten planned for this Saturday has to be canceled and rescheduled at a later date.
All further steps are determined by the health department.
"Of course, we hope that we can get back into training and games as soon as possible after the quarantine," said Karsten Wöhler, Sports Director of Dresden.
Much more important, however, is “that all affected players survive the disease and return healthy,” explained Wöhler.
