Schwendi (dpa / lsw) - A construction worker fell six meters and died in Schwendi (Biberach district).
The 38-year-old worked Tuesday morning in a metal basket that was attached to a crane, the police said on Wednesday.
The straps loosened and the man fell into the depths.
Colleagues found him and notified the emergency services.
The man died at the scene of the accident.
It was still unclear why the lashing straps came loose.
