Riegel (dpa) - Rock stars on stage and in private: Haunting portrait photos of Linda McCartney can be seen during a long evening at the museum and beyond in South Baden.

The Messmer art gallery in Riegel am Kaiserstuhl will open the exhibition once on Friday until 9 p.m. for visitors with a previously booked appointment, according to a spokeswoman.

The prerequisite, however, is that the seven-day incidence of corona infections in the Emmendingen district remains below 100.

Most recently it was 85.3.

The long evening should be a small compensation for the vernissage, which had to be canceled due to Corona.

Afterwards, the normal opening times apply again - however, appointments are still mandatory.

In addition to photos of rock stars from the 1960s, the exhibition also includes photos from McCartney's “Roadworks” series.

According to the Kunsthalle, these were created while the first wife of the Beatles singer Paul McCartney, who died in 1998, was traveling - partly out of the moving car.

The exhibition can be seen until July 4th.
