Magdeburg (AP) - The SC Magdeburg has sovereignly reached the Final Four of the European League.
In the quarter-final second leg, Magdeburg beat the Swedish representative IFK Kristianstad with 39:31 (23:12).
The SCM's best thrower was Omar Magnusson with nine goals, for Kristianstad Zoran Bozic was the most successful with seven goals.
The SCM had already won the first leg 34:28.
The Final Four takes place on the weekend of Pentecost in the Mannheim SAP Arena.
Magdeburg left no doubts from the start as to who would advance to the final tournament, quickly led clearly (8: 3/8. Minute).
Even a break for the guests did not change the dynamics of the game, the SCM continuously expanded their lead (18: 8/23.).
After the break, the SCM shifted down a gear on the offensive, so that Kristianstad was able to shorten slightly.
Magdeburg changed lively, but Kristianstad could never jeopardize the host's victory.
