Zweibrücken (dpa / lrs) - A drunk man without a driver's license has "borrowed" a friend's car in Zweibrücken.
He was visiting the woman late Monday evening and took the vehicle key without her permission and drove away to get more alcohol, the police said on Tuesday morning.
When the officials arrived on site, the 31-year-old had just returned by car.
When he saw the police, he first fled by car.
The police found him walking nearby a little later.
He had left the car on the edge of the lane.
An alcohol breath test showed a value of just under 1.7 per mille.
A drug test was also positive.
Because man now expect several criminal proceedings.
