Munich (AP) - David Alaba will switch from FC Bayern to Real Madrid, according to information from the Sky TV channel.
The 28-year-old Austrian national soccer player should sign a five-year contract until 2026, the broadcaster reported on Tuesday evening.
There was initially no confirmation from the two clubs during the Bundesliga game between Munich and Bayer Leverkusen.
Alaba will leave the German record champions this summer after 13 seasons.
His contract in Munich will then expire, so he will be transferring free of charge.
Negotiations to extend the contract had failed some time ago.
