Turkey approved the production of Sputnik V, a Russian vaccine against coronavirus infection. The newspaper Yeni Safak writes about this with reference to a member of the Turkish Scientific Council on Coronavirus Dr. Afshin Emre Kayipmaz.
According to him, "some tests were carried out in Turkey at the stage of vaccine production."
He noted that "the company associated with this process received approval after a request."
Earlier, the Turkish Ministry of Health said that the toxicological studies of Sputnik V in the country showed good intermediate results.
