Friedberg (dpa / lsw) - A driver was seriously injured in an accident on Autobahn 8 near Friedberg (Aichach-Friedberg).
As the police announced on Monday, a truck drove on the highway late Sunday evening and came off the road.
The truck then overturned.
The following driver was unable to brake in time, crashed into the truck and was seriously injured.
The truck driver was uninjured.
In addition, the truck's diesel tank was torn open and the truck lost around 500 liters of diesel.
The route was closed for several hours.
