Chinanews.com, Paris, April 18th. A French sightseeing plane crashed on the outskirts of Paris on the 18th local time, killing at least four people.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation.

  According to official sources, the plane took off from Beauvais Airport in Oise and crashed into a field in Seine-Marne.

The crash site was about 20 kilometers from Paris Charles de Gaulle International Airport.

  Preliminary reports indicate that this is a Robin DR-400 light aircraft, produced by a French aircraft manufacturer and widely used in French civil aviation.

  Investigators have rushed to the scene of the crash.

Agence France-Presse quoted firefighters at the scene as reporting that a strong smell of kerosene could be smelled at the crash site.
