North Korea has criticized the Korean military power augmentation project.

The Unification Sinbo, a weekly newspaper for North Korea's external use, said yesterday (18th), "The only reason that the forces of war in South Korea are enthusiastically clinging to the development and purchase of advanced weapons is that they are trying to prepare for the war, and that they will fight the war with their own people." It was argued.

On the 14th, North Korea pushed for preparation for the war against the North, saying, "The South Korean military is clinging to reckless measures to augment armed forces," through an external media echo.

It refers to the introduction of additional army Apache-class attack helicopters determined by the Defense Project Promotion Committee on the 31st of last month, the construction of a successor to the new Aegis destroyer, and the purchase of guided bombs.

In particular, there are many analyzes that the reinforcement of 36 Apache Guardian attack helicopters in the army has touched the planting of North Korea.

The military has brought in 36 Apache Guardians until this year, and plans to add 36 more from next year to 2028.

North Korea is compelled to introduce monster attack helicopters, armed with Hellfire air-to-ground missiles, Stinger air-to-air missiles, 70 mm rockets, and 30 mm machine guns, and scour the enemy at a maximum cruising speed of 269 km/h.

Conversely, the Apache Guardian is a great weapon for us.

We can understand that our weapons that North Korea is struggling with are painful to North Korea and are strong weapons for us.

If so, a weapon that North Korea doesn't talk about would mean that North Korea looks ridiculous.

Marine-on armed type, which is forced on the Marine Corps, is a representative example.

Our weapons that North Korea wins

Our weapon, which has been the biggest backlash from North Korea, is the Taurus, a long-range air-to-ground missile. In August 2016, the North Korean Foreign Ministry condemned the German government and called for a halt to export Taurus. North Korea's logic was "violation of German domestic law that banned the export of weapons to conflict zones", but the German Ministry of Economy and Energy was said to be "export based on the Export Control Act. North Korea did not give up, but in March 2018 mobilized several state media such as the Korean people and the Nodong Shinmun to criticize Taurus.

As such, the Taurus is a painful weapon for North Korea. It precisely flies 500km using a complex guidance device that combines an inertial navigation system (INS), a military satellite navigation system (MIL-GPS), an image-based navigation system (IBN), and a terrain reference navigation system (TRN). It flies so low that it is less likely to be picked up by enemy radars, and it has excellent penetrability enough to penetrate several meters of reinforced concrete. Given a target, the F-15K can hit with tweezers anywhere in North Korea, as high as Daejeon.

The F-35A, which the Korean Air Force introduces a total of 40 units by the end of this year, is also a regular dishonor of North Korea. It is a 5th generation cutting-edge stealth fighter. Its strength is its stealth performance that does not reflect the radio waves of enemy radars. It is difficult for North Korea to intercept, so the overhead is always anxious.

North Korea is also wary of our solid fuel rocket technology. In August last year, when the restrictions on the use of solid fuels by space launch vehicles were lifted due to the revision of the missile guidelines in August of last year, and the possibility of military reconnaissance satellites using solid fuel rockets was raised, the North Korean media echoed "dual action" and "betrayal to their own people." He raised his voice.

Marine Corps Marine-on armed type that North Korea is not interested in

As early as this month, at the latest in the first half of this month, the Defense Project Promotion Committee plans to select a Marion armed type based on the Surion, a multi-purpose helicopter, as a marine attack helicopter. Last October, at a national audit, former Marine Corps commander Seung-do Lee reconsidered the business, saying, "The Marines want an attack helicopter with excellent mobility and survivability, not a helicopter equipped with an armed Marine On." It is a message that he is leaning with the whole armed type. North Korea has never taken out a word that seemed to be completely uninterested in Surion, Marine-on, and Marine-on armed persons.

Even if it is expensive, fat, slow, and poorly armed, it is a Korean helicopter developed by KAI, which is the Korean aerospace industry, so our military should actively use it. So, the Army has adopted Surion as a multi-purpose transport helicopter, and Marines have adopted Marineon as an amphibious maneuvering helicopter. The National Police Agency, Fire Department, and Forest Service are also used for various purposes.

However, the situation is different for attack helicopters. What the Marines need is an attack helicopter that covers the Marines by sweeping the enemy shores and skies during the amphibious operation. You must be equipped with fast, agile, and enormous air-to-ground and air-to-air armaments. Marine-on armed type does not have such a function. The Marineon armed type is just an armed helicopter. Due to its larger size, survivability is less than that of Surion and Marineon.

Nevertheless, due to the logic of independent defense and economic benefits, the Marine-on armed type is taking the place of the Marine Corps attack helicopter. The'big mouth' army buys Apache Guardians twice enough, but the Marines who aren't good at combat are in a position to be sensitive to Marineon armed type.

They say that the government is backing up firmly...

President Moon Jae-in received a notification of promotion and position as the Marine Corps commander on the 13th, and said to the new commander Tae-Sung Kim, "I hope to become a world-class elite military force", "A strong defense force is required until complete peace is established, and the Marine Corps is at the forefront", He asked, "Please protect the residents and fishermen of the West Sea."

In the past, the Marine Corps was and is still a world-class elite army, a strong leader in national defense, and a defender of the West Sea.

In the future, we will continue to show our fighting power and spirit that dominate other forces and North Korea.

It is a tradition of the Marine Corps, which has always been tighter than other forces, but has endured with mental strength and honor.

It's been 72 years since it was founded, so conditions are likely to change, but the ugly tradition of taking over old and worn-out weapons to the Marines is also strong.

President Moon said to the new commander Kim, "The government will support (Marine Corps) firmly," but I really hope that you can support something.

Like the army, the Marines would like to be armed with Apache Guardians or Viper attack helicopters.
