Sömmerda (dpa / th) - Unknown people sprayed a swastika on the wall at an underpass of the federal highway 176 in Sömmerda.
The Nazi symbol has a diameter of 50 by 50 centimeters, as the police announced on Wednesday.
According to the police, it is not huge, "but neither is it small."
The perpetrators left several spray cans on site.
These were secured by the police.
The damage to property initially remained open.
The investigation into property damage and "use of symbols of unconstitutional organizations" has been started.
