Stuttgart (dpa / lsw) - Prince Charles's great-nephew, Prince Philipp zu Hohenlohe-Langenburg, is invited to Prince Philip's funeral service on Saturday, according to a media report.

"It is an incredible honor for me to be able to take part in the celebration in St. George's Chapel in Windsor," the nobleman told the Hohenloher Tagblatt, which belongs to the "Südwest Presse".

Like Prince Harry, who had traveled to Great Britain from the USA, the 51-year-old had to adhere to a five-day quarantine before he could be freed on Saturday morning.

Prince Philipp has been in England since Monday.

Prince Philipp is an entrepreneur, head of the Hohenlohe-Langenburg family and, among other things, chairman of the Castles, Palaces and Gardens Association of Baden-Württemberg.

His grandmother was the eldest sister of Prince Philip, the recently deceased husband of the British Queen Elizabeth II. According to the report, Prince Philip and Prince Philip met several times a year.

"You could talk to him about many things that interested us both: forestry, hunting and the observation of wild birds," said the prince of the prince.
