Schwesing (dpa / lno) - On Wednesday, the forces searched the house of an arms collector in Schwesing (North Friesland district).

Gun parts were secured, said Chief Public Prosecutor Bernd Winterfeldt on Wednesday.

Experts from the State Criminal Police Office are supposed to examine the finds.

The "Husumer Nachrichten" had previously reported.

According to the chief public prosecutor, the 64-year-old had his gun license withdrawn.

The man is subject to an official gun ban.

He is no longer allowed to collect weapons.

Proceedings are already pending against him.

The search of the house continued around noon.
