Peskov answered the question whether the presidents of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden, came to understand during a telephone conversation about the de-escalation of the situation on the border with Ukraine.

According to him, the Kremlin considers unfounded all concerns, "anyone, including the United States", in connection with the movement of Russian armed forces in Russia.

“On the territory of Ukraine, de-escalation can occur only as a result of the refusal of the armed forces of Ukraine from provocative actions,” Peskov said.

On April 13, a telephone conversation took place between the leaders of the United States and Russia, during which Biden invited Putin to meet in a third country.

The Kremlin said that the presidents agreed that the possibility of their meeting would be discussed through diplomatic channels.
