- We feel that it is important to be Melvin's voice.

If we can save someone's life by reporting it to the police, Melvin's life is not in vain, says Nina Holmlund to SVT Nyheter Västernorrland.

In February, Melvin Sonne enrolled at Korpberget's treatment home in Kramfors.

He was under the influence of drugs when he arrived at the treatment home and remained in bed for almost a day and was found unconscious.

Melvin later died in hospital.

The incident has previously been reported to the Swedish Health and Care Inspectorate, IVO, both by the treatment home, by the ambulance service and by Nina Holmlund, Melvin's mother.

Now she is also reporting the treatment home to the police for causing another person's death.

- Korpberget has made a mistake, they left him in a bad condition, says Nina Holmlund.

"Welcomes police investigation"

Christer Gustafsson, Korpberget's legal representative, has not yet been in contact with the treatment home regarding police reports, but comments as follows.

- It is an unfortunate event from beginning to end.

I have a hard time seeing that any crime has been committed.

If that were the case, we welcome a police investigation, says Christer Gustafsson.
