The police who arrived at the scene found out that the 29-year-old man had beaten his partner in the course of a family conflict.

At the sight of the police officers, the man began to threaten them with a knife.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the rowdy behaved aggressively, rushed at the police and ignored warnings about the use of service weapons.

At the entrance, a young man swung a heating radiator at the police officers, after another warning, the police fired a shot in his direction, the report said.

The victim was taken to hospital, where he died of his injury.
