The day after the publication of the results of the presidential election won in the first round by the outgoing Head of State Patrice Talon, the Minister of the Interior attributes the murderous violence to “

 certain political actors

”.

He accuses them of having planned a vast plan of destabilization which has been thwarted.

In a brief statement read to the press early this morning, the Minister of the Interior made it clear that those who demonstrated on April 6 wanted to oust Patrice Talon from power and to install a transitional government.

According to him, terrorist acts were planned in Cotonou, Porto-Novo, Abomey-Calavi and Parakou.

He explains that the barricades erected to block the two axes that connect the south to the north, were intended to cut the country in two.

Some sponsors are under arrest, others on the run.

They are accused of having recruited mercenaries, young people and hunters whom they armed with hunting rifles and weapons of war.

Minister Sacca Lafia puts the army and the police out of the question.

On the civilian victim side, the minister said: "

."
