Wiesbaden (dpa / lhe) - During the preparation of construction work in Wiesbaden, a World War II bomb was found on Tuesday near the 643 motorway.
The city announced that the defusing in the Biebrich district is scheduled for next Sunday.
For this purpose, the area is evacuated within a radius of several hundred meters.
The approximate duration of the evacuation is still unclear, a citizen phone should be set up in the coming days.
The bomb, which weighs around 125 kilograms, was discovered in the area of a field during exploratory work for a new development area; it was secured by the emergency services.
