Düsseldorf (dpa / lnw) - In 2019 and 2020 there were 68 attacks on police cars in North Rhine-Westphalia.
The total property damage was 29,946 euros, people were not injured.
That comes from a report by the state government to the interior committee of the state parliament.
Accordingly, with 40, most cases were assigned to the left-wing extremist spectrum.
Seven attacks had a right-wing extremist motivation - in 21 cases you don't know.
According to the report, a perpetrator could only be identified eight times.
