April 14, 2021 A 73-year-old pensioner suffocated with a pillow and killed his 68-year-old sick wife before calling the carabinieri and reporting himself.
It happened in Vignola, in the Modena area.
The military intervened on the spot at 4.45 this morning: the elderly man admitted his responsibilities
justifying the murder due to his wife's serious illness

He told the carabinieri that he could no longer see her in that state.
The man was placed under house arrest.
The 68-year-old's body was transported to forensics.
