Frankfurt / Main (dpa / lhe) - Axel Hellmann has taken over the role of spokesman for the board of directors at the Bundesliga soccer club Eintracht Frankfurt.
As the club announced on Tuesday evening, this decision was made unanimously at a board meeting in which sports director Fredi Bobic also took part.
The supervisory board of Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG also unanimously endorsed the proposal of the executive board, it said in a message.
The division of responsibilities on the board would remain unchanged.
Each board member will retain the decision-making authority in his area of responsibility.
"Eintracht Frankfurt is in a state of upheaval due to the current developments in the sporting sector," said the chairman of the supervisory board, Philip Holzer.
Therefore a bundling of the overriding communicative tasks is necessary.
Following the move from head coach Adi Hütter to Borussia Mönchengladbach, the intended departure of Bobic and the end of the activity of sports director Bruno Hübner, Eintracht has to engage a completely new management team for the next season.
