  • 4-M Pedro Sánchez aligns the calendar of European funds and vaccines with his campaign in Madrid

The Government has already completed the

Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan

, a key project on which the

European Commission

depends on giving the

green light to the 140,000 million that

Spain

will receive

as aid to face the economic and social crisis caused by the Covid.

Pedro Sánchez has exhibited before the media the book that includes the plan and that, in theory, will be revealed this Wednesday in Congress.

However, the Executive does not specify when the aid will begin to arrive.

The President of the Government has avoided specifying when the aid from these European funds will begin to arrive, which will go until 2026 and within which the Executive plans to invest 70,000 million, half, until 2023, the year that coincides with the legislature in force, the coalition mandate.

Without a specific figure, without knowing which day of the calendar should be marked in red, Moncloa defends that the Budgets for 2021 have already consigned 27.00 billion "linked to the first tranche of aid", which the Government will finance, anticipate, until it arrives money from the European Commission.

The fact is that despite the fact that the Prime Minister has argued that all the ministries have been working since July last year on this reform plan, the truth is that some measures and reforms have yet to be completed.

Hence, the Executive is rushing to send its text to Brussels - it has until April 30 to do so.

"There are elements to be fine-tuned with the European institutions," Sánchez acknowledged in passing during his appearance, to explain the recovery plan for the second day in a row.
