Michelle abused drugs from her early teens and went in and out of treatment homes.

She herself planned to write a book about her life and in the documentary series Freedom is Thunder, her mother Ann-sofie and friends participate because they want to give a voice to Michelle.

November 3-4, 2016 became Michelle's last day of life.

Because she was judged to be suicidal, she had been released from the treatment home where she was cared for and taken to psychiatry in Lund.

But there she was not forcibly taken but was released instead.

A security guard saw her driving around under the influence of drugs in Lund during the night.

Police took her to custody where she was found lifeless a few hours later.

She was then pronounced dead at the hospital.

In the clip above, you hear your friend Javi, the guard and the head of arrest in Lund tell.

"Cod and get stuck there"

Her friend Javi also describes how she and Michelle quickly developed an addiction after trying drugs for the first time.

- The euphoria you end up in is overwhelming and then the hunt begins immediately.

This is what you need to feel good.

And then you are cod and get stuck there.
