Kühlungsborn (dpa / mv) - A new drive-in test center is being put into operation in Kühlungsborn today.

Drivers can drive up to the pits on seven lanes and be tested.

Another box with four test departments is available to pedestrians and cyclists, as Stefanie Zielinski said, the head of the municipal office.

A total of up to 5000 people could be tested per day.

The capacity could then be used when tourism starts up again and tests for safety are considered necessary.

It would also be conceivable to use the center not only for testing, but also for vaccination.

The German Red Cross is responsible for the operation.
