Surprise Justin Timberlake, repentant, apologizes publicly to Britney Spears and Janet Jackson
The Super Bowl intermission concert is one of the most anticipated shows by music fans and the most desired stages by artists.
And although all the shows generate
great anticipation
and a subsequent barrage of criticism, the
2004 show
, starring
Justin Timberlake and Janet Jackson,
marked a before and after in the history of said show.
It was just at the end of the performance of the artists when the one who was then
one of the golden boys of
world music,
tore part of the wardrobe
of Michael Jackson's sister, exposing one of her
breasts
.
The scandal was so huge that from then on
a delay of several seconds
was introduced in the broadcast of the Super Bowl concert in case the broadcast
had to be cut.
Janet Jackson was the great victim of the questionable feat of her stage partner, since what was internationally baptized as
nipplegate
forever marked her image.
Just a few months ago, Justin Timberlake publicly apologized to his colleague by profession, in a message in which
he also apologized to Britney Spears
and other women who throughout his life had been harmed and injured because of their behaviors.
But the story continues since now it has been
Wayne Scot Luka,
Jackson's stylist for that performance, who has told in detail the truth of what happened on that emblematic stage.
In an interview with Page Six, Luka has revealed that he
was the singer
of
Like i love you
, inspired by the epic kissing performance of Madonna, Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears, who
suggested creating a show
that surpasses the aforementioned and stays in the memory of the popular collective.
Janet Jackson covers her chest, after the controversial moment.
As has been rumored from the moment it happened, the stylist assures that
everything was prepared in detail,
what was not known was that Timberlake was the promoter of the idea.
"I would never call that a wardrobe mistake. In fact, it
was the best-prepared wardrobe ever.
As a stylist, the look served what it was meant to do."
