Heede (dpa / lni) - A 59-year-old was killed in a collision with a light vehicle in Heede (Emsland district).
The man drove his car head-on into a turning vehicle belonging to a 16-year-old on Monday evening.
According to the police, the young person's light vehicle overturned as a result of the impact.
Both drivers had to be freed from their cars by the fire brigade and were taken to a hospital seriously injured.
The man died in the hospital.
