Stoulton (dpa) - The supposedly “longest rabbit in the world” has been stolen from its owner's garden in Great Britain.
The animal named Darius measures 129 centimeters according to the "Guinness Book of Records" and has held the title since 2010.
Owner Annette Edwards spoke of a "very sad day," as the PA news agency reported on Tuesday night.
She called on the perpetrators via Twitter to bring the animal back and offered a reward of 1,000 pounds (1155.50 euros) for the return.
Darius is too old to be used as a breeding rabbit.
The animal was probably stolen on Sunday night, the police said.
